Maps of St. Helens, Merseyside, England

We have learned the following from David Parr:

“I live in Eccleston, St.Helens, Merseyside, UK and having looked around your web site, I know you are aware of the Parr connections in this town. The phone book is full of us!

Eccleston is at the other side of town from the district of Parr (approx 3 miles away). Old maps of St.Helens show the site of Parr Hall which had a lake. Unfortunately, neither the hall nor the lake survive to this day.”

David was kind enough to supply the maps of St. Helens — some marked to show the areas of Parr.

Map 1 : is a modern small scale map showing the general position of St. Helens.
